3:00 A.M.

Being up with my wife at this time of the morning is great for 3 reasons, (1) it's the only time we're alone, (2) we get to conversate & pick each other mind, (3) share a pot of good coffee
Another rainy day in Memphis, Tn

Frost bite

It was cold as ($#$*) today and I had to work in it, all day long. Its something about having to work in the cold weather that makes you want to rethink just why you didn't go to college & finish. Lets see hmmmmmm, oh yeah that (%@*), (ADD) problem I have. Anyway whats for dinner, how about: Salmon stuff w/feta cheese, spinach & red bell pepper, all on a bed of steamed wild rice & asparagus. Warm comfort food for the soul to help get rid of thoughts of beng a looser!!!

Tonights dinner was a success, we had Moroccan style Roast Chicken & Potatoes, with Thai Ginger & Sesame Salad.

For dessert, Steamed Pears with Dates, Walnuts & Honey sauce. It was very good & makes me think that I blew the one chance I took on learning to be a Nurse, when I should have found a way into Culinary School. Oh Well, at least I have the food network.

Money Lost

God, another rainy day! Usually I don't mind the rain so much but the bad side of it, is that when it rains I don't work which translates into no money for the day. Oh well, at least I get to spend this time with the family which is great. Guess I'll go over recipes & decide what to prepare for dinner. How about (Moroccan style Roast Chicken) & (Oven Roasted Potatoes) & for dessert (Steamed Pears w/Walnuts, Dates & Honey sauce).......... I think this will be a dinner to be proud of.........................
